Our space is a photographers playground. Have access to our 14,000 sq ft facility to film new products, vehicles, interviews and more. With secure and private courtyard space large enough to fit heavy trucks, you can capture NDA-required imagery without prying eyes. Plus, with our easy 2nd floor access your team can capture a birds eye view without the need for equipment rental. Our large open warehouse space has an expansive industrial vibe, but with lots of natural light from six garage doors, and many floor-to-ceiling windows.

This is a great option for music videos, press interviews, talking heads, BTS, Q&A, stills and motion, commercial production and more!

Host meetings and small group workshops in our spacious conference room (seating for 8 with additional room for 2 stools if needed). Our beautifully restored conference room features a 65” smart tv, large white board, cork board, high-speed WIFI and free printing (limitations apply). You’ll also be able to get some serious work done in our largest office with two mid-century modern desks. $100/hour

FOOD: You’ll have access to our shared Member Kitchen with a coffee station (pour-over, drip, espresso machine), fridge, freezer, ice maker, and large counter space. Bring your own catering/food truck in for no additional cost, or ask about some of our local catering partner offerings.

PARKING & NEARBY AMENITIES: We have ample street and private parking for more than 50 cars, with close proximity to great local restaurant options in downtown Ferndale. And we’re dog friendly!

Rent 4,500 sq ft of second floor hangout space for your next event! We have casual lounge seating, tables for catering, and a flexible dry bar counter that your catering/bartenders can use setup for the night. You can use our vintage mini-fridges, or bring your own coolers. There’s also two renovated competition-grade pool tables, a shuffle board table, ping pong, foosball, and your very own private movie theater! About the building:

This recently renovated building was originally built in the late 1800s by a student of Albert Kahn for the purposes of designing and building architectural furnishings for many Detroit Public School. For the past 45 years however, it was an aerospace machine shop, so all of the character from both eras shines through upstairs. If you’re looking for a place to host your next family get-together or corporate event, this is the spot!

Available to anyone looking to host an event in 3,500 sqft of cool industrial space. 50th birthday parties, product launch parties, art gallery pop-ups, weddings, car & bike shows, corporate Christmas parties, meet & greets, mixers, or photo/video shoots- make the place yours for the day. There are three large roll-up doors to make the event as open or intimate as you prefer. The indoor area has 20ft ceilings, 3,500 square feet of industrial space, courtyard access, gated side lot access with fire pit, patio seating, indoor and outdoor parking for show cars or bikes, and one unisex ADA restroom at ground level. Food trucks can pull right into the space so your event can keep rocking and rolling rain or shine!

FOOD: The Cafe at MOTO offers excellent Food & Beverage packages, including charcuterie grazing tables, and there are some great local catering options nearby, and we include a large 11ft long by 3ft wide table for your spread. Tables and chairs packages also available upon request.

Host your own movie night or film screening in our dedicated movie theater. Housed in the oldest part of the building dating back to the late 1800s, this theater has tiered seating for 12, plus additional high top seating for 12 more. We have a full 7.2 channel surround sound system from JBL, a 12ft wide screen, and every major streaming service available. Bring your own DVD/VHS/BLURAY or just stream your favorite TV shows for a binge-watch session. Ask about our food and beverage packages available for an additional fee to make your event even more memorable!

This is a great option for 2-24 people.

It’s like having the whole bar to yourself! We have (2) eight foot competition slate pool tables, made by Wolverine Pool Tables in the 1980’s -just two blocks from where they stand now! We had them both re-covered in new matching 21oz Bottle Green Titan Fabric by Championship Billiard Fabrics. We also have a 21ft all-wood construction shuffleboard table and a competition sized ping pong table. Second floor balcony doors, high top seating, full length countertop, all add up to one of the coolest hangouts around.
