SINCE 2015
Got that mid-winter creative slump? From writer’s block, to empty-canvas intimidation, we get it because we’ve been there! That’s why we chose to do something about it. For one freezing cold weekend each year, we go camping in January to really test out our coffee. Some people choose to ride motorcycles for an added layer of insanity, but most of us chose to stand around the fire, talking about what we’re working on and learning that just because it’s Winter, doesn’t mean we can’t get outdoors and get inspired!
We have a saying around Winter Motocamp:

Sometimes it helps to get out of the studio and try new things. We had a few local artists invite us to try a classic Michigan pastime: Dirtbiking! It’s exhilarating, immersive, and a great creative spark that always ends up with us around the campfire discussing new ideas and fresh new ways to create art when we return to civilization.
